According to the forecasts of HungaroMet Nonprofit Zrt., temperatures may drop below -18°C in the coming days. Therefore, to protect the integrity of the probes and sensors, the removal of equipment from the Green Sentinel surface water monitoring stations is a necessary step to prevent frost damage and ensure the long-term reliable operation of the instruments.

Once weather conditions improve, the stations will be restarted and data collection will resume immediately. We will provide an update regarding the reinstallation of the instruments and the renewed availability of measurements.
